An Easy, Great Alternative to Juice, Soda and Sugary Drinks – 4 Ingredients (No Sugar Added)

August 14, 2017

Hello everyone! If you’re a Cali girl, like me, then you know this heat just gets more and more unbearable as the years pass. I mean, last year this time it was super hot, so I’m just waiting for the REAL heatwave to hit. Staying hydrated and cool is one of the most important things to do during this time of year, but God knows we all have cravings for those sugary drinks! Let me just say that I am in no way a nutritionist nor am I a health expert in any way and this recipe I’m about to share with you is super healthy and refreshing and a great alternative to sugary drinks like soda, juices and such. It’s super easy to make and there is NO SUGAR ADDED, which is great! Especially in my case because diabetes runs in my family and what I least want is to put myself more at risk than I already am, according to statistics. Anyway! Here’s how to make it.

You will need: Peppermint Leaves, Cucumber slices, Cantaloupe pieces (one of my favorite fruits!) and Lemon slices. THAT’S IT!

Grab your favorite pitcher and start by adding as many Ice Cubes as you want, and then follow that by adding Peppermint leaves, Cucumber, Cantaloupe and Lemon

After that fill pitcher with as much water as you’d like!

Take the pitcher and place in your refrigerator to let infuse and cool even more for about 2 hours.

Serve chilled and enjoy the delicious refreshing taste! You will not be disappointed, I promise!

I hope you ladies try this! And please let me know if you liked it as much as I did! Also if you have any great alternatives to sugary drinks, please do tell in the comments below and leave links to your blogs, I’d love to check them out! And if you’re wondering about my glass cups here’s the links to those! The pitcher is from Target, but I was not able to find the link!

xoxo

  1. Great idea for a refreshing healthy drink. In NY the summer can get really hot so I would usually drink lots of water or have ginger infused with water. I will be sure to try this one. Thanks!!
