Chocoflan Recipe

Hi all! I’ve been MIA loosing sleep here at home with my 1 month old! It’s been very tiring and my sleep cycle is all over the place but I think we’re getting the hang of it now! I want to share with you the recipe that I use to make my delicious Chocoflan! Here it is:

For the Flan

3 Eggs
1 can of La Lechera milk
1 can of Evaporated milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
100 grams of Philadephia cream cheese
Liquid Caramel

 

For the Cake

1 box of Chocolate cake mix (just follow the instructions on the box)

 

Instructions:

Preheat oven at 350F

Place eggs, milks, vanilla, and cream cheese in the blender and blend

In a different container prepare the mix for the  cake

Spray your cake mold with PAM or butter spray, then add the caramel as desired

Pour the flan mix about half way into the cake mold

Pour the cake mix evenly over the flan mix in the cake mold and cover with aluminum foil

In a bigger container (oven-safe) add water to fill about a third of it and place the cake mold inside

Place the whole container in the oven for one hour and a half

Take out of the oven and let cool then place in fridge for 1-2 hours

Then cut, serve and enjoy!
