Okay so as I’m sure you all know, I’m 30 and it doesn’t bother me at all, but I find myself second guessing my style from time to time. And not only that, I don’t really know where to shop anymore. Back in the day, it was Forever 21, or Papaya Clothing or other similar retail stores aimed toward the younger crowd. Nowadays I’m spending time shopping online and this is how it goes: I open my browser and look for a piece that I’ve been into lately only to end up being distracted by thoughts about how much I need some good knives, or how the door knob has a dent in it. Needless to say, I end up purchasing either things for home, or for the kids. Anyone else like that? Well the other day I went to the mall that I used to go to when I was a teen, and I entered Charlotte Russe. It was the rare occasion where the kids were not with me and I was alone. I found this beautiful top on sale for $8.00! I tried it on and noticed it showed my mid section more that I’d like, but I decided to go for it so I purchased it. I’m so glad I did. I love the way the color goes with my skin and even though I feared it may be a little too out there for my style or taste, I decided to give it a shot. As I was waiting in line to pay I saw these beautiful sunglasses that I thought would go great with the top, also out of my comfort zone, but I decided to just get them. Here’s the look I put together. I love the fit of the shirt and the way the fun colors of the sunnies complement each other. My mid section was not a big deal after all. Overall, I’m happy with my purchases and want to encourage all my mommas out there that are sometimes afraid to try new trends to just do it! And have fun in the process! What do you think of this outfit?

Thank you! Yes, I think it’s a natural way to feel when you grow up. I was all about me in my teen years and now it’s all about the fam bam and the house lol
